I was disappointed to see how intolerant people below the line were in response to Rhiannon Lucy Cosslett’s humorous and relatable article about “letting things go”.

People have become so militant about things, small things, things that one person struggles with and others find easy.

I wonder what would happen if fewer people had a go at a columnist talking about a personal choice, and took more time to write to local politicians/businesses to complain about supply chains, local produce in shops etc.

We seem to invest so much of our time persecuting people about doing their best, and not enough time holding people in power or people with real influence to account.
